This was a pleasant first experience starting when I arrived at the clubhouse. The pro shop informed me that my reservation was for the next day, as I had made a mistake when I booked it. They were very understanding and kind enough to get me out on the course about the same time I had booked anyway. I rented a cart and we started play around 1:30. It was so pleasant that I never had to wait on any hole. Great pace of play to enjoy a really nice day on the course. The fairways and the greens were in fantastic condition. Everything was lush and green and well maintained. I wish courses would get back to having ball washers on the tee boxes but this is yet another course that has done away with them. That was my only complaint though. The paths were great all over the course and the signage was also clear and easy to follow around the course. We played our round in less that 3 1/2 hours and we were a foursome, so pace was really a pleasant factor for our round. The course is a bit short which was fun as there were a couple of drivable par 4's but still had 3 par 5's to challenge your fairway woods. The par 3's were challenging with water on a couple of holes as well to make things interesting. Overall I really liked this course and I will look forward to returning to play it again.

Wow what a find. I've known Monterey as a golf destination but only if you've got some deep pockets. This proved me wrong 100%. My dad and I played this gem of a course on Memorial day and it wasn't crowded, we finished in 4 hours flat and the price was great for the quality of course. The greens were rolling true, the fairways were well manicured, and the rough was actually rough! Would recommend this track to all skill levels, in the wind it's a tough test even at 5500 from the tips. Finally, a shout out to the grille. Normally I'm good with just a dog at the turn, but this place will do you one better with their magnificent chicken sandwich with mango salsa. Such a delight. I'll come back for sure.

A very nice course for a beginner like me and my wife. However does take some good strokes or you will be in water or some rough areas. But nice fairways and greens.

Beautiful day! Unfortunately we had a group a few holes ahead of us that held up the course and it took us 5 hours.... Marshal needs to step up his game.

Nice little tract...some challenging holes. It's in great condition since it doesn't get much play. It's still not open to the public. Very reasonably priced.
