Honestly, kind of a strange experience. Let me start with the good – the bar tendress (guess that’s not a real word) was very good, and the pulled pork sliders I got were pretty tasty (if a bit too spicy for me, which doesn’t take much, so may not be an issue for others). The not so good / kind of weird - very few people in there (usually not a good sign) and very few Google reviews. So I was surprised when I asked how long they had been open expecting something like 2 months, but she said 2 years! It sells itself as a sports bar, but it really is an indoor virtual golf place with I think 6 or 8 bays. And there are plenty of TVs for those golfing bays and some of the observation tables near them. But the bar itself didn’t have a single TV above it! I had to turn about 120 degrees to my right or left to see a TV sitting at the bar – weird! I suggested to her that they add one or two above the bar and she said that’s a good idea. Should it really have taken 2 years for that to be realized as a missing?!?! Sadly, I would not bother going back.

Edit: Been back many times & always have a blast. They have many fun events throughout the week like Live Bands on Friday Nights, Trivia on Thursdays, and Karaoke! Soo excited that Links Club has finally opened! It’s just what Carmel needed. Where else can you hits balls, watch sports, and drink?! Stopped in with my friends this weekend and we had so much fun. Top of the line golf suites, great and well-priced beverages, and a funky, delicious menu. We will definitely be back here for more good times.

Great new spot in the Carmel Plaza on the first level for golf enthusiasts and those new to the game. The entrance is near Mission. Huge facility that can host multiple parties at once. I tried some of the food and drink and it was excellent and they will keep updating as time goes on. My friend and I hit some balls for an hour and had a great time exploring different courses on their virtual golf course using Trackman technology. I can get analysis of my swing and other data from our session. They even have some PGA professionals available for instruction if needed. What a great new addition to the community for locals and visitors. The staff was friendly and eager to help guests feel welcomed and have a good time. Definitely a great stop for your visit to Carmel and a great spot for regulars like me working on my swing or hosting friends and colleagues. Update May 2021: returned with a good friend to have lunch and golf a bit. The pork belly and tempura yams were great as was the Asian chicken salad. The simulator was fun playing St Andrew’s and the provided clubs did the trick. Hoping to come back with an instructor or use the in-house instructors to improve my game.

When you are in Carmel and looking for a fun time I suggest going to Links Club. As part of my birthday celebration we went to Links Club. We had a blast. The food and drinks are very good. The goling experience pretty realistic. Highly recommend it.

Be prepared to over-pay for this experience. 3 people will be at least a $300 night if you do golf, dinner (or appetizers), and a couple drinks. Might as well go golfing at a nice course or even hit the driving range in town instead of this. If you go over the 1-hour limit (which you don't get notified if you do) you'll get charged extra... and it adds up quick. An hour is not even close to enough time if you're wanting to enjoy the experience, either... Makes sense why we were the only people there at like 7:30 on a Saturday night... Except for the 2 guys playing ping pong in the corner... If you have a few hundred dollars you've been wanting to say goodbye to or if you get high off spending lots of money speed golfing, it might be worth it. But if you're like most people who golf in America and are hoping to have a fun date night or night out, just know it will hurt after you see the bill. You'll think of how many other things you would have rather spent your money on. Again, you can play an actual full round of golf at this same rate or lower in just about any city and you won't even be put on a timer. The host and server were very friendly, though.
