the maintenance of this course is severely lacking, there is no navigation throughout the course and the map is wrong.

Great design for the space ,one of steady Ed's last course design . A must for anyone who loves the game of disc golf.

Got done eating at the all-you-can-eat dining commons and want to burn some of those calories off? Come here and enjoy one of CSUMB's two awesome disc golf courses! Both are 20-hole epics, but Cypress is the shorter one with 363 feet average distance versus Oaks' 413 feet. Mostly open with a few trees in play, this course is great for both beginners and intermediate players. Added bonus for me is the smell of ocean and the occasional seaweed on the sand. Signs and concrete tee pads are all here. Tip: Park near 2nd Ave and Inter-Garrison Rd if you don't want to pay.

If you're new to disc golf, this is a great place to start. Signs are clear, facilities are clean and there's plenty of parking around the course. Just remember to get a parking pass, last time I checked they were $5 all-day.

The course is ok play-wise, but the landscaping is awful. There are way too many weeds and no grass. Worst part is that many sections are full of sand spurs/ stickers and fire ants. This course needs some serious maintenance before someone gets hurt.
